Artist Bio:

Sara Castro is Panama's number 1 female DJ. Her career started when she met one of the best sound engineers in Panama, Granvil Kincaid, who later became her mentor. Soon Sara was playing in one of Panamas most exclusive nightclubs, Pure Lounge and Terrace, Tom Sawyer´s nightclub.  Sara sarted to develop her fashion taste alongside her music taste and soon she was putting on real shows for the crowd when she DJ'd, wearing extravagant outfits from local Panama designers such as Annie Chajin and Melina Typaldos. Her status as a one of the best dressed DJs of Panama has grown and she has been sponsored by global brands such as Guess, MAC Cosmetics, Buffalo, Swatch, Creative Recreation and Nike.

Sara gives to electronic parties in Panama a new twist making it an experience, thanks to her unique style and of course her refined music selection of techno, tech-house and minimal.
  
Nowdays, Sara Castro is one of the key opinion leader´s for Miller MGD and one of The Roxy´s Local Hero and plays in the best nightclubs and events in Panama such as The Loft, Velvet, Casa Nikki Panama, Privilege, Sheraton and Nikki Beach Hotel - often playing for major brands Ministry of  Sound, Juicy Couture and Samsung. In 2011 Sara was the first Panama DJ to eve rplay at the famous European festival Space of Sound where she did the warm-up for Fisherspooner.
 
´Hydro Trip´ is the name of her first track co-produced by Ivan D, one of the most recognized Dj´s in the Miami electronic music scene,  it also uses her vocals and it was released on beatport in august 19th, 2010, and in just one week it became the top #1 downloaded track on beatport in Southside Recordings. Months later 'Hydro Trip' was chosen by the label to be part of the album BEST OF 2010. 

In June 2011, she launched her own radio show called: Sara Castro presents: AUDIOPROTESI, which means headphones in italian and is the perfect blend of good music, news on the international electronic scene along with excellent comments and of course her seductive voice. 
 
Sara Castro wants to make the universe dance along with her music and good vibes. She wants the people to believe and think BIG. Without any limits! "It´s only by CREATION, not by competition" she says.
