The countdown has officially started until we can all jump in the car to ferropolis and go crazy again at MELT! FESTIVAL!
Last year was epic; on a personal note I stayed up for 2 days, made some lovely new friends, got a suburn on the aptly named Sleepless Floor and lost my voice through over-exertion shouting along to the likes of Robyn, The Streets and Paul Kalkbrenner. (FYI - The handy thing about drinking VodkaApple, is that it's really easy to say sign language.)
Am thoroughly looking forward to repeating that this year, although im definitely not going to scream as much. MELT! have outdone themselves on the booking front this time around it must be said, the line-up is stunning and truly international. From hot newcomers like Lana Del Ray to festival kings Bloc Party to Berlin faves Whitest Boy Alive to Frenchie electro legends Justice to lord of all things minimal and dark, Richie Hawtin. MELT!'s got something for literally everybody, and it's going to be off-the-fucking-hook!
