BANG BANG BERLIN Welcomes PlayLOVEPop!
We are very happy to announce that BANG BANG BERLIN Gallery will be playing host to PlayLOVEPop, a travelling KIDS pop-up store that really is going to be something different! If YOU are a young parent in Berlin then you are going to love this and your kids are going to go bananas too :-) Make sure you come by either to the opening this Satzrday or in the course of the next 2 weeks! After the 21st it will be gone again (until next time, wherever that may be!) Asides from more cute clothes than you will know what to do with, PlayLOVEPop will also be offering theater plays, craft workshops, face painting, dance, a photography exhibition and lots of other treats! PlayLOVEPop is an innovation in the kids boutique world. The idea behind PlayLOVEPop is to embark on an adventure and travel to different countries and locations to share with children and parents Pop moments of Play and LOVE in a unique environment where Fashion meets Art meets Crafts.
For the first Pop Up in Berlin the two owners Dimitra Zavakou & Maria Garozi, invited a selection of fashion designers like ATSUYO ET AKiKO, ESP no.1, GIGI&ZAZA, Kicokids, mila&tara, milk ‘n’ cookie, Sunbird, some of which will be introduced in the German market for the first time.
The Pop Up will carry a range of clothing, accessories and design for children for ages 0-11 years. PlayLOVEPop is not a typical fashion boutique for kids. Maria who lives in New York, realized a shift in retail with the Pop Up trend. This is why PlayLOVEPop is a traveling boutique that appears for a short period of time till it reappers again. Dimitra, who is a mother of two kids and a Berliner for seven years knows very well the need for events and a special space for kids while parents shop.
PlayLOVEPop have also teamed up with New York-based photographer Anna Palma who will do a photo exhibit inside the Pop Up and with Berlin-based Rotonda Teatro who will perform a theatre play and workshops. The Pop Up will also include a furniture exhibit from the local Berlin designer, Dielerei with all furniture pieces available also for sale.“We wanted to combine New York & Berlin Art” say the two owners.
PlayLOVEPop will be opening tomorrow (6th August) at the BANG BANG BERLIN Gallery, after the 'mittagschlaf' at 14.00! Come down and enjoy frozen ice ream from Efe and check out the gorgeous kiddies clothes and hang out with other cool parents!
