We arrived at the new PotiPoti store in Mitte, just as the hot day was cooling down. The store is 'klein und fein' as they say over here, but very inviting and packed full of eye-popping colours. Their S/S11 collection is full of great separates which can be mixed and matched endlessly and stand-out items like psychedelic coloured espadrills. They also have a knack for eye-catching accessories such as donut pendant necklaces that look good enough to eat. A young, quirky, very 'Berlin' crowd were standing around in front of the store waiting for the fashion film premier "Lovers Rock". The lighthearted and stylish film is by Machines Désirantes, with music from Anti, which perfectly presented PotiPoti's S/S11 Collection. The designers Sylvia Salvador and Nando Cornejo were there and chit-chatted with us - they also looked exactly like their customers: fun, down-to-earth, slightly bohemian hipsters.
