I ask: Does Berlin have a smell?
During my brief stay in Mexico I always smelt jalapeños in the air. While living in New York City that musky bar smell always breezed by as I walked down any avenue or street. Here in Berlin I would have to agree with Henrik Vibskov's poetic interpretation of how Berlin smells: "spicy and fizzy top notes (black pepper and sulfur match) [which] soon ignites its soft woody heart... recollective of smoky and leatherish odors ". Yeah, that about sums it.
The series also includes Type C that represents Copenhagen where the Danish Designer has his headquarters and Type D, which represent Damascus, a Middle Eastern city a world apart from this side of the earth.
Voo, the concept store on Oranienstr 24 that carries the Henrik Vibskov brand, will be launching the fragrance series this Friday August 26th between 8-11pm.
Smell you there!
