Firmament Renaissance celebrated their 5 year anniversary on July 5th and kicked off Fashion Week with a well attended block party. I am really impressed with a menswear shop that could bring out beautiful, well-dressed woman. Women who know how to mix femininity and modern street attire always make for great eye candy. The men who attended the Firmament party are our modern day dandies, and if you were invited then you know what makes a guy look good even in casual clothes. The store sells contemporary clothes for the young professional man. It’s that understated cool-ness we all want our man to possess and wear everyday.
Though I arrived at the party fashionably late, I could still see the men who the shop Firmament caters to. It’s a “Hipster” for lack of a better term, one who has the eye (and money) to acquire the subtle elegance we attribute to high-end streetwear. The clothes are made with quality fabrics and have tasteful details high end menswear is known for. For example zippers and pockets in unconventional places. Brands like A Bathing Ape, Comme Des Garcons, AIAIAI and Stussy Deluxe do it so well. It is indeed a shop worth picking up a special piece to add to your rack of jeans and t-shirts or wear with your Hugo Boss Suit.
