The Death Set (TheDeathSet, Death Set or The DeathSeat or however you spell their name) are back in Deutschland!! YAY!
Rejoice as these TransAltlantic art-rockers cannot clearly get enough of Germany. Visiting earlier this year in support of their excellent second LP Michael Poiccard they are back in Europe to open for spiritual uncles the Beatsteaks, on their massive winter stadium tour.
Constantly touring even when they sleep, The Death Set's music reflects their numerous experiences and unique DIY approach to almost everything. The German alternative scene simply laps up their curious brand of spazzcore, punk, electronica, pop, whatever. There is certainly something to be said about three Australians from New York spending 90% of their shows in the crowd... not literally of course.
AND even if you're not up for spending your precious $$$ on standing in buildings which normally host ice hockey matches, surrounded by men with beer kegs strapped to their backs then rejoice just that little bit more as TheDeathSet are playing a number of club dates all over the country for you, me and anyone else who likes a good time.
