Interview with POSH! The Prince.
POSH! The Prince is a living acronym for "Passionately only serving him", A creative sensation located in Berlin, I caught up with POSH! The Prince, to see how life after the Lady Gaga tour is going and what else is going on in the world of all things POSH!...
So POSH, You have just come back off tour with Lady GaGa where you were her front dancer and stage hype man, How did that come about and what was the best part of the tour for you?
I received a phone call from Gaga in January of 2010, and she basically invited me onto the tour. We were already friends for years in NYC, so it was a tale of friendship coming full circle. The best part for me was the technique I was able to absorb from seeing how a stage production that big really works. And the bright lights of course!!
You have a track on the recently released album “Return to Planet Batty” which you will be performing at Batty Bass in Berlin [more details at bottom of page], can you tell us a bit about that track titled Re-bokk Robot and how you started working with Hannah Holland?
The original song is actually six years old. I wrote it back in NYC in 2005 I believe. Hannah heard it, loved it, and remixed it in 2009. I'm very ahead of my time.
You are also working on an experimental film and documentary consisting of the topics of individual freedom and energy transformation, can you tell us a little bit about that and where the idea came from, besides the fact you are all about individual freedom?
The idea was inspired during my residency in Sydney, Australia this year. My experience there was very difficult emotionally, and mainly due to the heavy ignorance and prejudice that people are very unaware exists there. They do not celebrate the individual or the avant-garde, and they show it with their energy output and jealous eyes. I had to turn it around, thus, a major project was born. I'm also soundtracking the film with original songs that are going to be released for free.
As a femme real fan myself I can feel your excitement for “seducing the world one straight man at a time” but what is your personal favorite type of straight man to seduce? Is it Brick layer butchie? Married with 2 daddy? don’t for get to tuck-it Turks? What gets your pulse racing?
First, no Turkish men, ever...they are way too fucked up in the head and too aggressive here! No offense to my Turkish friends, but it's the fucking truth. Second, German men are my absolute favorite. They have huuuge dicks, they are tall as fuck, have big features, and piercing blue eyes. Fucking delicious!!! I'm a big fan! I like all types but they must be MANLY. I am always surprised by how up front straight Germans are about wanting me and really going for it. YUUUMMM!! REAL MEN. MMMMMM. I was once deemed chocopussy by one of my lovers as he licked me from head to toe, and it really stuck with me. I do have a pussy! It's in the back!
You are back in Berlin now since the above said tour, are you planning to stay located in Berlin now you have been traveling around or is this just a quick refreshing pit stop on the tour-de-la-POSH?
I have no desire to be stationed anywhere besides Berlin. After traveling the world all over, there is no place that gives me the personal freedom to do whatever the fuck I want like in this town. This is home. I will always travel but I'm going to be very bitchy and picky about who gets to see this delicious ass in person.
You are quite well known for your iconic style and imagery, What would be your must have item to be worn and what would be your burn-it-bad item?
Thank you for that sweet compliment. At the moment, my must have item is a black leather jacket that I bought at a store called Candy in Tokyo, Japan. It's one of the sickest boutiques in the city, and when I saw that jacket I knew it would be life changing. It has become a POSH signature and everyone is always impressed by the hand done keith haring style etchings it's covered in...major! I don't own a single "bad" item because all of my pieces are a true expression of me.
