The weekend is suddenly upon us, and the holiday of the haunted is creeping up quickly. Berlin party people take your stance: should you resist Americanisation and the imminent commercialisation of your beloved 'underground' party scene, thus entering the weekend clad in your usual drab black, carrying a bag filled not with tricks and treats, but brimming instead with sarcasm and disdain to cast upon your fancy-dressed inferiors? Or do you ditch the hipster high horse, drape yourself in glorious gore gear and embrace the chance to get down and dirty whilst covered in blood? (Why does that always seem to make everyone look so good?). Halloween hipster or Halloween hater; just be thankful that the Halloween weekend means that your facebook events system is bursting with more parties than it knows how to systemise.

Grounded Theory 12 booms its way into Arena tonight, with dedicated disciple of the techno gods, Ben Klock, purifying you with hours and hours of high-energy, precision mixing. With strong support from Dutchman Delta Funktionen and Henning Baer, it offers the perfect hard and dark commencement to your weekend of delightful horrors.

Just Von Ahlefeld - a.k.a Dionne - is a Smallville label representative and a DJ / producer who holds a residency at Solomun's Ego club in Hamburg. Tonight he leads the line-up of Passion Beat at Loftus Hall, so expect melodic webs of deep house magic that gradually ooze out floaty-dreamy-walking-on-sunshine synth lines with an innate sense of style.

Winners are grinners, so bare your pearly whites tonight by winning one of two guestlist packages to the Make The Girl Dance Album Release Party. The French duet have been causing a ruckus with their controversial videos, 'Baby, Baby, Baby', and 'Kill Me', and you can email us here for a guestlist package to get involved in all the hot fuss (first in win!).

Halloween mania kicks hard tomorrow night, and what better way to spend the haunted holiday than at a home party with Jesus? Homeparty mit Jesus is one of those half-secret, wholly-hedonistic techno raves being done the 'old school' way that all those 'old school techno ravers' keep bending your ear about while you're trying to dance. No clubs, no surly-burly doormen kicking you to the curb due to lack of ID or the 'wrong attitude'. Just one big party ranch bursting with local music out in Wedding (i.e: where the cool kids can feel satisfyingly ungentrified without straying too far from the coziness of the center).

Backyard Berlin makes its own gruesome fun tomorrow night, with the Halloween Haunted House II Party, offering 'creepy techno' (hopefully the music, not the DJ) indie and hip-hop.  Or for something fresh, you could check out the Halloween happenings at new club location Ktv, who host Family Business with heavenly creatures upstairs vs. downstairs devils, including acts from New Ýork, London and of course, Berlin.
