If you live in Berlin and you are anything remotely connected or part of the LGBT community then you will have heard of creative mecca "Barbie Deinhoffs" on Schlesische Straße. This intimate venue has previously given support to a lot of major creative queer artists in Berlin by either exhibiting their work, giving them performance spaces/ DJ sets, selling their CD's to even allowing pop up hair salons for example for now celebrity hair magician Charlie Le Mindu.
This Friday Berlin's number 1 twisted gender bending power group WET NAILS will be taking over with a DJ set and special MC live performance, filling Barbie Deinhoffs with a mixture of house, sassy house, dirty bass and any other genre in which to get jiggy to.
WET NAILS, for those who are not in the know, is an interracial tranny-trio who work as "Atmosphere designers" which have set a standard in Berlin for gender bending with their current and fresh looks and sound, They have previously hosted parties for BOY LONDON, Horse Meat Disco, have worked with producers like Stephan Bobinger and Staycj Pepper and performed in venues from Chantal's house of Shame through to Das Haus der Kulturen der Welt as well as having their own party in berlin titled "RIOT" and then of course... Barbie Deinhoffs.
