What do you get when you mix art, fashion, design, music, performance, film and a bunch of creative minds? A thing called Berlin Collect. This extraordinary showcase of emerging Berlin-based designers brings you the best handmade pieces: from fashion to interior design, jewelry, fine art, hats and much more. It’s a collaboration between Fier Management, SemiDomesticated, Nelou, The Offer Berlin, Régis Lemberthe and Retramp, all creative initiatives from the hauptstadt.
The project will last for one month and presents a series of events that’ll take place every weekend of March. This weekend, on March 5th between 3pm and 8pm, three upcoming fashion designers will be introduced. Daniel Torres, Hector Hector and Moga e Mago will showcase their collections on the members of the Orchestre Miniature in the Park (OMP), who’ll also give a concert. This should result in ‘a musically and visually overwhelming fashion show’… now that sounds good, right?
After the performance, DJ D’Double will throw a party and on Sunday the 6th it’s still not over: Philipp Gabriel will show you a video projection with material from the day before, including pictures made by Alejandro Ilukewitsch. DJ’s The Golden Mummy (VIP) and Rasheem Hershel will provide the music afterwards.
The whole happening will take place at the Berlin projectspace of the New York based gallery Dam, Stuhltrager. Here at Bang Bang Berlin we all know how to spend the weekend in March!
